1.  I believe I have psychic abilities.  How can I learn how to use or control them?  And, how do I know that I truly "have" psychic abilities?

Reese - My first advice is always to do your research.  Find a local metaphysical book store to find books that are for beginners.  The store clerk can guide you to the proper books and other utilities that you may want or need to learn or increase your own abilities.  If you do NOT have a metaphysical bookstore, just visit your local bookstore, and they should have a section dedicated to spiritual/metaphysical topics.  Then, once you begin learning techniques...  PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!  Meditation also plays a HUGE part in honing in your own abilities.  Most people think that meditation is something that is difficult and unattainable, but it's actually quite simple.  If you can sit and fantasize about yourself going to the beach for example, you are meditating.  However, there are many books and CDs that teach meditation techniques, and many of them offer guided meditation where they talk you through it.  It is similar to being hypnotized, but that is a whole other genre.

2.  Where can I find classes to take to learn about my psychic abilities, or about metaphysical lifestyles?

Reese - Again, look for your local metaphysical book store.  Most of them offer classes in everything metaphysical ranging from the basic unlocking of your psychic third eye to advanced mediumship.  They also tend to add classes on Earth based religions such as Wiccan and Pagan practices.  I suggest starting any class at the beginning level.  Some classes may appeal to you for no other reason than to learn more about a certain topic, and some classes actually have an advancement on levels that end in diplomas, certifications, degrees, and even ordained priests or priestesses.

3.  I always feel emotions that others' feel.  What does that mean, and how can I shut it off?

Reese - This goes back to question one, but this is called empathy.  You are an empath.  I do not wish this ability on anyone as I have seen how it affects professional psychics who utilize it, especially my own mother.  It can really take it's toll.  So, if you want to open up to it for whatever your reasons, learn some "blocking, grounding, and shielding" techniques.  Again, these are addressed in SO many books and classes.  I also spend a little time on them in some of my seminars.  But, this is an important part of utilizing your own psychic abilities.

4.  Why do I have/need psychic abilities?  Why me?

Reese - My belief is that it is not only spiritual, but more so a part of evolution.  In ancient times, earlier forms of humans didn't yet master the skill of communication through a formal spoken or written word.  Therefore, most communicated in a primitive form of telepathy; much like animals do today. However, having said that, I also believe that there are certain people who were blessed with a gift that is supposed to be used to help.  One such gift is called DISCERNMENT.  I won't go into lengthy details, but if you do your own research you will learn all about it.  But, that's not to say that "you" who have psychic abilities are not "special" in any way.  There is a reason for everything, and we may not always know the "why's" but in the end it always makes sense.  You know how hindsight is 20/20.  We all have a calling/purpose/destiny.

5.  I believe I, my house, my dog, my cabinet, etc (you get the picture) is haunted.  What do I do?

Reese - I suggest ruling out ALL forms of natural reasons for any activity you may be experiencing, including environmental (large amounts of granite can cause hallucinations, feelings of paranoia, etc.), faulty wiring, loose or faulty plumbing or pipes, psychological, medical, drugs, etc.  Once all options have been explored, and excluded, then I suggest consulting a reputable psychic medium and/or reputable paranormal investigative team.  Then, if you are found to be haunted, it is your decision as to what to do about it.  Once you've made that decision, stick to it!  Especially if you are dealing with something that could possibly be malevolent.  So, yes, here's the part when you say...  "Ghost Busters!"  LOL!  OK, but seriously, if you are dealing with something malevolent, then it is time to bring in spiritual help.  Whatever your spiritual beliefs are do not matter, but bring in your priest, preacher, shaman, imam, rabbi, etc.  You get the picture.

6.  My _______________ (fill in the blank) recently passed away.  Can you tell me why?  Can you communicate with them?  (and unfortunately in many cases)  They were murdered, are missing, or died of a suspicious death.  Can you help, or tell me what happened and why?  Also, do you charge for these services?

Reese - Yes, I can communicate with them.  Often times the information is overwhelming, and I caution anyone who really wants to communicate with a loved one who is crossed over that it may be overwhelming, or it may be under whelming...  Meaning, they may not get the answers "they" want to hear, but they will get the messages they are meant to hear.  And, rarely, the communication is not there at all.  Also, in a missing persons case, I try my best to locate the person.  If they are still living, I am given "hints" or symbolisms that may make no sense to me, but may be the key to their whereabouts.  But, if the missing person is dead, but has not been found, and the person searching is not ready to give up hope, then I certainly will not be the one to take that hope from them.  As for my charges - I do charge for medium readings where one can communicate with the dead, and those are no less than one hour long (see my web site).  Thus far I have not been charging for cold case investigations whether I work with families, private detectives, friends, or law enforcement.  However, lately those cases are coming in by leaps and bounds, and I do need to start charging simply to pay my bills.  This is something that is weighing heavily on my heart, so I haven't made a firm decision yet.  However, I am starting to charge families due to the fact that once I've done the work, the local law enforcement may or may not utilize it, and my work will have been futile, and I will have spent time unpaid.  I certainly do not mean this to sound harsh, but I have to pay the bills too.

7.  I am interested in the paranormal and want to become a paranormal investigator.  What do I do?

Reese - I suggest again, doing your research.  Find your local, reputable paranormal research group, and find out what their qualifications for joining are.  There are even classes and colleges that are now teaching paranormal investigative techniques.  I do NOT suggest going around old buildings, historic graveyards, or such without express, written permission.  (You can and WILL go to jail for trespassing)  You can use tools such as electromagnetic detection meters, room thermometers, cameras (35 mm with film are more reputable than digital), audio recorders, video recorders, and so much more.  If you are advanced you can use thermal imagers, motion detectors, ion detectors, geiger counters, and there are even some devices that claim to be able to speak for the dead in response to human questions.

Reese - You can book an appointment through my web site at www.ReeseChristian.com or at my family of psychics web site at www.PresageConsultants.com or you can e-mail us at any of our e-mail addresses on the web sites, and finally you can simply call.  However, if you want a phone reading, and do not want to come into the office, you MUST pre-book and pre-pay on the web site.  The site is secure, and we ask for all of that information (or our merchant account does) to prevent fraud and identity theft.  We need to know that you are YOU, and not someone else using your credit card to pay us without your permission.

9.  Do you offer any "free" sample readings so that I can see if you are legitimate?

Reese - No, I'm sorry, but I don't.  This is how I make my living, and I must charge for my services. I have an excellent and trustworthy track record, so I do not need to prove myself. If you feel you need to know if I am legitimate, please do your homework and find out what others think of me and my reading accuracy.

11.  How can I get a copy of your book, Poltergeist DVD, calendar, writings, pod casts, etc?
